Two vessels fitted with Scot Seats at Seawork from Humber Inflatables

Long term client, Humber Inflatables will have two vessels at the forthcoming Seawork exhibition kitted with Scot Seat S2J jockey seats.

The first vessel is the Ocean Pro 7.5 which was delivered to Dorset police last November.  Since then the vessel has seen plenty of action in Poole Harbour and surrounding area, as it patrols and polices this vast range.
The other vessel is the Humber Quinquari Offshore RIB, which is a hard working multi-purpose vessel based in Padstow, on the Camel Estuary.   This 9m vessel has many roles and currently lists its uses as; patrol vessel, mooring buoy maintenance craft, pilot vessel, tow boat, rescue craft and local on water police unit.  With the strong tidal currents around the Camel Estuary, the three S2J jockey seats, which are mounted on plinths on the deck are essential for crew comfort and safety.

The S2J is one of the most common seats sold by Scot Seat especially for RIB’s and open vessels. The standard features for this seat include 150mm progressively damped shock mitigation system, 50mm height adjustment with automatic Body Mass Index compensation.  The seats are all fitted with the latest FOX Float Air Shocks, which offer infinite adjustment for weight and unsurpassed performance with its progressive air spring.  They have a compact foot print so they do not take up too much room in the boat and they are fitted with top grab handles. The S2J jockey seats are trimmed in black toughtec, which is anti-slip, hardwearing, water and UV resistant material.

All Scot Seat products are designed and manufactured in their facility in Ayrshire, Scotland and carry the Made in Britain mark.
