Scot Seat – KPM Marine working with Harken Industrial

Scot Seat KPM Marine have teamed up with Harken Industrial and now can provide their marine seats with a track system designed specifically for the marine environment, giving boats flexible cockpit layout with fast, hassle-free reconfiguration.

The system works so that the seats are mounted on four trolleys that run on parallel rails. Two of the trolleys have pinstops that locate into the holes in the rails. Two trolleys are free sliding.

The trolley location can be easily adjusted by raising the two pinstops and slide to new location. The system is strong, with the Trolley tested to over 20 kN and is only 33mm wide giving minimum intrusion on the cockpit sole.

The track system can work with all the range of Scot Seat shock mitigation seating range, and are particularly suited to their popular S2J Jockey seats.  The fact that the system was so adaptable means it can also be used to be fitted to dive tank racks, weapon racks or deck boxes as well as the seats.

Seats fitted to the new Harken system will be displayed on the MRL stand E062 at the Southampton International Boat Show.
