New Quinquari Vessel fitted with Scot Seats.

One of the vessels at this year’s Seawork exhibition is an Offshore 8m Patrol vessel from builders Quinquari.  The Patrol vessel is fitted with 4 off S2J Jockey seats from Scot Seat – KPM Marine.  To allow for flexible layout the boat has 2 of the jockey seats on the Harken, quick slide rail system. The seats are fitted with grab handles and pockets for stowage.

The seats were important to the crew as the patrol boat operates in the Port of Milford Haven, the UK’s largest energy port and the largest port in Wales.  Powered with 2 x 200hp outboard Evinrude engines, the vessel which has a maximum speed of 50knots has to cope with the big seas that are found just outside the mouth of the port.

The S2J Jockey seats are in use for many types of vessel, such as fast patrol vessels, around the world having proven themselves as the ultimate shock mitigation jockey seats available. The seat provides the occupant comfort and safety in all types of sea conditions, with optimised seating position and protection.
