New Multi-Van M1 Rail/ Seat System from Scot Seat Direct

Scot Seat Direct are launching the new M1 multi-van seat system at the Commercial Vehicle show. The system allows the fitting of individual seats on a 1 metre section of floor that has 2 x rails built into it. This rail makes fitting simple and eliminates problems of lining up separate rails as with other comparable rail systems.  The system is lightweight, at just 5.1kg per metre length, and is manufactured from bonded aluminium. Seats can be fitted on quick release NMI tracking legs or on T-bolts to suit specific vehicle requirements.

The Multi-Van system has been tested on all popular mid to large panel vans within the San Carlos range of seats.  This system gives vehicle owners a simple system that is compliant with the latest VOSA IVA regulations for the installation of seats.

For vehicle convertors Scot Seat can also assist with gaining approvals for Small Series and Full European Approval for Crew Vans, Mess Van and Minibus conversions with documentation and other tests that may have to be carried out for your specific conversion. Installation training service can be carried out either at the Scot Seat factory or on site if required.

The system has been tested in a number of vehicles including: Mercedes Vito and Sprinter, VW T5 and Crafter, Citroen Dispatch and Relay, Peugeot Expert and Boxer, Fiat Scudo and Ducato, Vauxhall Vivaro and Movano, Renault Trafic (including 2014 model) and Master, Ford Transit Custom and Transit (2014 on model to follow).
