New Height Adjuster from Scot Seat – KPM Marine

Following successful trials and testing, Scot Seats will be launching their new and improved S2J Jockey seat with more and easier to operate height adjustment.

The height adjuster was given an exclusive preview with a prototype product at the DSEI exhibition which was held in ExCel London in September and was well received by all those who saw and tested it.

The new height adjustment mechanism allows operators quick easy operation to their seat height from the seated position, operated by a handle located neatly under the front of the jockey seat top.  The product is lightweight and offers more adjustment than the old quick turn height adjustment system.

The new height adjustment system will be available firstly on the S2J jockey seat and following on with be available on the S2H helmsman seat also.

Jonathan Young, Scot Seat- KPM Marine Managing Director commented “This is ideal for vessels that regularly have a variety of passengers.  The adjustment means that whatever the users height, the seat can be made for optimum comfort as well as ultimately, ensuring the user is safe gaining the most from the shock absorption qualities of the seat.”
