50 LDV Van Seat order for Scot Seat Direct

Scot Seat Direct and their partners have seen a busy first half of the year.  Earlier this year Strathclyde LCV started importing the LDV brand of vehicles which have seen a return to the UK market.  The first of vans to be supplied are the long wheelbase LDV V80 which are the re-engineered upgrade of the LDV Maxus vans and are new to the UK.  They are made in China by SAIC Maxus and the vans have an excellent payload capability and service support.

The first major order has been for over 50 vans for Advance Construction (Scotland) Ltd who are long term customers of Scot Seat.  The vans are used for transporting workforce around various sites.  The M1 tested San Carlos seats have been used for this project which are Scot Seat's most popular range of passenger seating.  It is one of the most comfortable seats on the market and offers the occupant a good level of safety and support while still being one of the lightest M1 tested seats available.

In addition to the V80 vans a number of short wheelbase vans have also been supplied which also have 6 of Scot Seats popular M1 tested San Carlos Seats fitted in each. Advance Construction, who are a major groundwork and civil engineering business supplying labour, plant and material to projects have been relying on seats supplied by Scot Seat to keep their staff safe when being transported to and from sites for around 10 years.

"It’s always nice to supply our products to a growing business local to us like Advance Construction when so many of our products are shipped all over the UK and rest of the world. The relaunch of the reworked LDV Maxus vans to the UK is exciting for the commercial vehicle trade and being involved in supplying seats for such a large order like this through Strathclyde Commercials is great."
